275: Yosemite in Winter

Two weeks ago, my sister and I took a spontaneous trip to Yosemite, one of my most favorite places in the world. I love to lose/find myself in nature, and a place like that, so beautiful and peaceful, gives awesome perspective. We had lots of adventures and mishaps (i.e. accidentally hiking for six miles without map, water, or sunscreen), visited one of the greatest dive bars of all time (The Dirty Donkey!), maybe saw a wolf, drank wine at the Ahwahnee, pretended we were Miwok Indians, and I got a book detailing all 900 documented deaths in the Park and have been obsessively reading it. Anyway, there was a little bit of snow, very few people there, the weather was gorgeous, and it was a trip to remember. I highly recommend. Enjoy the photos!

I went in to do reading assessments and then somehow this happened..... #educatoroftheyear Dropping the new single..... #brasileuteamo All my life I've been looking for a man who will write how he loves me in the sand. I'm good with a third grader on playground dirt. #teacherlife It's not supposed to, but this sign makes me want to hang out with the snake. He seems fun. I'm gonna be out of a job soon. This kid is on fire. #jokeoftheday #teacherlife
